Chef Shoes

While I have cooked for decades, I have just started the process of formally getting my professional chef certification, and one of the required elements are non-slip chef shoes. I have previously owned Danko cooking clogs, but I never found them terribly comfortable (though my wife loves her regular Dankos). Crocs can look a little dorky, but there is no denying they are comfortable and practical, and at a price point that makes financially attractive.

These are perfect for the kitchen environment, but you may want think of another alternative if you are going to spend a lot of time in the front of the house.
